Food, fun and music come together the third Friday each month at Pacific View for a fundraiser.
Food Truck Friday combines three great loves – family, friends and food.
The event takes place the third Friday of the month at the Pacific View Mall in the Trader Joe’s lot from 5 to 9 pm (winter hours). Food Truck Friday is a partnership between the MVCC and the Pacific View with a portion of the profits going to our Adopt-A-School program.
Nearly 20 food, dessert and coffee trucks are in one location with music, face painting and fun for kids. Local food trucks such as Scratch, The Underground, It’s in the Sauce and Ventura Coffee regularly participate as well as out-of-town favorites Sweet Arleen’s, The Grilled Cheese Truck, Belly Bombz and Cousin’s Main Lobster.
The participating trucks can be found on our Facebook page here.
The Midtown Ventura Community Council has a booth and loves meeting with residents to talk about our community. We also have sodas and waters available for a donation with the proceeds going to our community programs. The mall provides tables and chairs as well as portable heaters to stay warm on a chilly evening.
Food Truck Friday, which was started in October 2012, has grown into one of the more popular food truck events in Ventura County. Make plans to join us! These are the dates for Food Truck Friday, subject to change, for 2016:
