Join us this Friday, June 17, for Midtown Ventura’s Food Truck Friday and help raise money for Midtown Ventura Community Council’s community service projects.

The monthly event takes places in the Trader Joe’s lot at the Pacific View Mall from 5 to 9 pm. The community gathering features live music from The Bandoleros featuring Ray Jaurique and Brian Parra from Saturday Night Sound playing music between sets. Face painting, balloon animals and chalk art are free for the kids.

More than 20 gourmet food and dessert trucks are slated to participate in Food Truck Friday, which takes place the third Friday of the month. Local favorites Scratch, It’s in the Sauce and Sweet Arleen's are joined by LA favorites Cousins Maine Lobster, The Grilled Cheese Truck, Belly BombZ and Rice Balls of Fire.

Stop by the MVCC booth under the yellow canopy and say hello. Money raised from the event will go toward the MVCC’s Midtown Commons project, a major improvement project for a parking lot between Thompson Boulevard and Main Street.
