ElectionImageThe Midtown Ventura Community Council will hold its annual election of officers for the board at its general meeting on Thursday, March 12.

Terms are for one year and to be eligible you must live or own a business within Midtown and have attended at least one meeting in the past 12 months. Positions up for election include Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and Co-Secretary.

An ad-hoc committee has met with eligible candidates and proposed the following slate: Gregg Mansfield (Chair), Karen Flock (Vice-Chair), Pamela Hazard (Secretary), Dan Long (Treasurer), and Nora Paulson (Co-Secretary). Nominations may also be taken from the floor.

Being part of the MVCC is a great way to give back to your community whether it’s through the council’s Adopt-A-School projects or Midtown Ventura’s Food Truck Friday event.

The meeting starts at 7 pm at Cooper Hall, 65 S. MacMillan Ave.
